Canton Challenger Baseball
Our teams are comprised of players with various levels of abilities. From spina bifida to Down syndrome, hearing or sight impaired, a walker or chair, developmental disabilities to autism or ADHD … every child deserves to play. With the Challenger League, no one is ever turned away.
Our teams play on regulation Little League fields, using most of the regulation equipment. We do make adaptations based on each individual’s abilities and needs. Our season begins in late April and runs through July. We have players from all over Stark County and beyond.

Overview
SumFun Day Camp strives to provide children and young adults with developmental disabilities, a typical camp experience.
For some campers, this may mean that the child is included in the traditional day camp program. For others who need a greater level of supervision or medical care, they may be in a more sheltered setting at the Happiness Pavilion.
Our multi-week summer program provides multiple benefits to campers. Each week, campers build confidence and lessen their anxiety as they become familiar with the day camp routine and staff members. Learning the physical boundaries of the campsite offers campers a sense of security. Establishing a daily routine of activities on which they can rely allows campers to feel a sense of control. Interacting with the same group of campers provides a route to socialization and age-appropriate friendships.
Staff selected to work in this program receive all required training of Home and Community Waiver Providers for the State of Ohio. The ratio for the program is one staff member for every five campers.
